Terms of use

Effective October 1, 2026

Stubtrip (stubtrip.com) is operated by Pulse & Pause Lab LLC, 7533 S Center View Ct, Ste R, West Jordan, UT 84084, USA. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What Stubtrip does. Stubtrip is a free trip planner. You pick an event and we build a suggested weekend plan around it: areas to stay, places to eat, getting around, and an estimated cost.

What Stubtrip doesn't do. We never sell or handle tickets, hotels, travel or anything else, and we never take payment from anyone. When you're ready to buy, we link you to the site that sells it. Your purchase is between you and that site, under its prices, terms and policies.

Affiliate links. Some of the ticket and travel sites we link to pay Stubtrip a commission when you buy. It never changes your price. A site's own terms and privacy policy apply once you're on it.

No guarantees about third parties. Prices, availability, event dates and times, and venue details come from, or depend on, third parties, and they change. Cost figures are estimates, not quotes. We make no guarantee that any price, room, ticket or event will be available or as shown. Always confirm on the partner's site before you buy or travel.

Plans are suggestions. Plans are written by an AI model from real listings. They can contain mistakes, and places can close or change. Use your own judgement.

Your account. You can use Stubtrip without an account. If you sign in by email to save plans, please keep that email account secure. We can remove plans or accounts that misuse the site.

The site as is. Stubtrip is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Pulse & Pause Lab LLC is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or of any partner's services.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Places. Place names, categories, addresses, websites and locations on Stubtrip, for restaurants, bars, attractions and hotels, come from Foursquare Open Source Places, made available by Foursquare Labs, Inc. under the Apache License, Version 2.0. While a plan is being built, Foursquare's Places API also helps choose places by rating, popularity and opening hours; those details are not stored. Stubtrip is not affiliated with or endorsed by Foursquare.

Changes to the Foursquare data. Stubtrip keeps a copy of Foursquare Open Source Places refreshed each month, limited to places in the United States that are open and in the categories trip plans use (food and drink, attractions and entertainment, and hotels). Each place's categories are shown by their own name rather than their full category path, and its distance and walking time from the venue are our own calculations. Names, addresses, websites and locations are otherwise shown as Foursquare publishes them. Places Foursquare's community has flagged as closed are left out of plans.

Events. Event names, dates, venues and ticket links come from Ticketmaster, through their Discovery API and affiliate program.

Maps and drive times. Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap contributors, and drive times from OSRM. Where a venue's neighbourhood is thin on listed places, Stubtrip also reads OpenStreetMap directly.
